Barn pics

We picked up Doug from work the other day.  I took these pictures by the horse barn at the school.  I think they came out pretty cute considering that they were spur of the moment pictures.  

Trick-or-Treat

Reed and Lainey with friends, Nathan, Dallin, and Kyle, while trick-or-treating.  This was their first year doing the door-to-door type.   They had a great time running house to house.

Our Spook Ally

In the spirit of Halloween, this is a picture of what Doug affectionately calls our spook ally.   This is the room where the fire took place upstairs in our home.  You can see the boarded up window where they chucked everything out the window, and eventually chopped the desk in the picture and chucked it out too.   This picture was taken in May of this year, and we are still waiting for the rebuilding upstairs to be completed.  Everything upstairs was removed down to the studs.  Drywall is up now and painting is getting started.  The windows have been replaced, and trim has been put up.  They hung the doors last week.  They still have to do the plumbing, all fixtures, flooring, and other odds and ends.  But it is starting to look like a house.  Hopefully before long we can make it our home once again, and move in. 

Reed's 5th Birthday

Reed had his party this year at the YMCA Gymnastics Center.  Reed and his friends had a great time playing and using the equipment there.

I had fun making his cake, which is my rare opportunity for a creative outlet.   He of course asked for his piece to be one of the eyes.

You can see the word "cool" coming out of his mouth as he opens presents from his friends.

YMCA Halloween Party

Reed and Lainey at our local YMCA Halloween party.  We have a Clemson Tiger, and a BYU Cougar.  Marlie was also a cheerleader in her UGA outfit.
